All you need to know before you schedule a lesson

Do you only do online tutoring?

No, we do both online and in person tutoring. We may recommend online tutoring as we find that it gives us the best flexibility to match up students with tutors who are experienced in their exam boards or their specific needs.
Are there group lessons?

We are rolling out small group sessions for revison as exam dates approach so watch this space. We do allow students who know each other from outside tutoring to arrange group sessions with us if they find that helpful.
Do you have a cancellation policy?

If you can't make a session and let us know with 48 or more hours notice then you are entitiled to a full refund. If we are given 24 or more hours notice you may rearrange or receive a 50% deposit. With less than 24 hours notice it may be possible to rearrange but this is at the discression of our individual tutors.
Which exam boards do you cover?

We have tutors that are experts in all of the major exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, CIE and more.
Are you tutors qualified?

Yes, every tutor at Oxbridge Tuition is qualified. All our tutors have as a minimum, a related undergraduate degree, a PGCE or equivalent, experince teaching in schools, tutoring experience. Many of our tutors also have experience as examiners or markers as well as experience working at Universities. All this wealth of knowledge can be put to use helping our students get great grades, write excellent applications and ace those all important interviews!
What topics do you offer?

We offer the full range of topics you would expect to find at GCSE and A level. We also offer tuition in other related areas such as interview preparation.
What are the opening hours for Oxbridge Tuition?

As a mostly online tuition provider we have students who study with us from around the world. Therefore we offer tuition at times suitable for most students and strive to be as flexible as we can. Contact us to find out more.
Are tutors DBS checked?

Yes, all our tutors are DBS checked, we also provide additional training to ensure that our students are prevent trained and up to date on child protection regulations.
